Summary
The Weld Associate 2 will be responsible when fixtures are not available, will be required to lay the part out per blueprint specs and weld part.
May also perform job duties: Assembles a variety of standard and non-standard fixtures and related tooling. Ensures weld fixtures function appropriately with complex angles or contours. Designs and creates fixture details and holding devices. May be required to verify accuracy and quality in accordance with established control procedures. Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Other duties include Weld Associate 1, layout tables, landmark design, stainless steel and robot operator.

Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence as well as be able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Reasoning Ability
Must have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer skills to pull up and view blueprints and view and claim shop orders.
