SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
The AVP Hudson Tunnel Program (HTP) will lead a mega-project program that will deliver a critical program which will reduce travel time on the Northeast Corridor. This infrastructure program will include the rehabilitation of existing infrastructure and the construction of new assets to include new tunnels, tracks, bridges and stations. The AVP will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with Gateway Development Commission (GDC), host and regional railroads, agencies and stakeholders.
The AVP should have a proven track record of delivery within the Engineering and Construction industry, preferably with strong experience in Rail & Transportation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building a high performing team that will be responsible for all aspects of project delivery against approved scope, schedule and budget, while maintaining the highest standards for safety and quality at Amtrak.
As part of Infrastructure Project Delivery leadership team, this position will be accountable for assembling and managing a team responsible for all aspects of project delivery, which will include robust stakeholder management and communication. The AVP will be responsible for creating and providing messaging to be used with the Board and external stakeholders including FRA, FTA, Gateway Development Commission, Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, and NJ TRANSIT.

The salary/hourly range is$ 209,00- $272,200. Payis based on several factors including butnot limited to education, work experience,certifications,internal equity,etc. Depending on anemployee's assigned worksite orlocation, Amtrak may consider a geo-pay differential to beapplied to the employee's basesalary. Amtrak may offer additional incentive and payprograms to recognize and rewardour employees, including a short-term incentive bonusbased upon factors such as individualand company performance that is commensurate withthe level of the position and/or long-term incentive plan compensation.
