We are currently seeking a Production Operator who will be responsible for producing high quality custom engineered products in a safe manner with the opportunity to work in different areas of production to include Cold-Heading, Heat Treat, Plating and Collation. This position is located within our New Hudson, Michigan location.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Train and become competent in collating and packaging parts
  • Troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to ensure machine efficiency
  • Ensure work area is prepped, cleaned and organized for next shift
  • Partner with team to ensure machines run to maximum efficiency to meet all quality standards
  • Work closely with colleagues, emphasizing team work, minor maintenance, and to ensure all quality requirements are met
  • Ensure daily history sheets, manufacturing packs, and the correct completion of related paperwork is completed
  • Certifyall data is correctly recorded
  • Manufacture cassettes as needed
  • Enter items into ERP system as necessary
  • Other related duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Always work in a safe manner
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding that Safety and Quality come first.
  • Ability to measure parts to include thickness gauging and coating weights
  • Basic computer skills
  • Punctual
  • Positive attitude
  • Team player

EDUCATION:

  • High school Diploma or equivalent required
