Company Overview

S&S Structural Systems Inc., a manufacturer of Precast and Prestress concrete products, was established in 1979 as a Florida Corporation, and in 1988, became a producer for the Florida Department of Transportation. S & S became a member of the Florida Prestress Concrete Association in 1993, and Jerry Shannon, the president of the Company, is on the FDOT/FPCA Liaison Committee.

S & S has a staff Quality Control personnel with FDOT certified, ACI Grade I, and CMEC Cylinder Testing Technician with a lab and equipment to maintain a QC program per FDOT requirements. In addition to the FDOT requirements, S & S uses PCI QC programs.S & S serves the west coast of Florida from New Port Richey to Naples. However, it is not uncommon to have jobs as far as Pensacola, Jacksonville, Miami, and the Caribbean Islands.

S & S actively participates with the Owner, Architect, Design Engineer and Contractor to review the goals of the project to find ways and methods to cut cost, time and provide the quality product needed to achieve those goals.
